Your Role
As Head of Finance, you will:
- Strategize and Lead: Develop and oversee financial strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead budget planning, forecasting, and in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Risk Management: Implement robust financial controls and risk frameworks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Investment & Growth: Manage investment appraisals, banking relationships, and capital allocation to drive growth and profitability.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

What You Bring
We are looking for a seasoned finance professional who has:
- A BSc / HND in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
- Proven Expertise: 10 - 15 years of financial management experience, with deep knowledge of IFRS, ERP systems, and finance best practices.
- A Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline is a significant advantage.
- Professional Certification: ACA/ACCA certification is mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex financial operations.
- Strong strategic thinking, data analysis, and problem-solving abilities to navigate challenges and identify opportunities.
- Familiarity with trends, challenges, and opportunities in the agro-allied and poultry sectors.

2.) Internal Control Officer
Job Locations: Benin - Edo, Owerri - Imo & Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Purpose
- Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Monitor and investigate suspicious activities or transactions to prevent fraud, embezzlement, or other financial crimes.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement corrective actions to address identified control deficiencies or non-compliance issues.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure correctness and accuracy of every record of the company through daily call-over reports
- Ensure that all credit sales are duly approved
- Ensure a well-controlled payable portfolio
- Early detection/correction of shortage/suppression
- Ensure strict adherence to budget as approved by management for the company
- Ensure that I.O.U collected are duly approved and retired within 48hrs/completion of the assignment
- Ensure the safeguarding of the various assets of the company e,g consumables, stock, fixed assets etc.
- Monitoring of diesel intake from vendors and internal dispensing to ensure accuracy and prevent conversion, pilferage, theft or fraud
- Ensure adherence to the HSE regulations
- Prevention and detection of fraud, forgeries and operational errors
- Prepare and submit regular reports to ICM/HIC and other RELEVANT stakeholders on the status of internal control activities, including any issues or concerns that require attention.
Education Qualifications
- BSc/HND in Accounting
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in internal control, auditing, compliance, risk management, or accounting at officer level
- Professional Certification: ICAN ATS Certification

3.) Internal Auditor
Job Location: Magodo, Lagos

Job Description
- Identify areas of control weakness, loss, or potential loss and provide appropriate recommendations to the Head, Internal Audit and Risk.
- Assist management in the identification of risks inherent in the business and provide recommendations on the adequacy and effectiveness of controls in place to minimize such risks
- Protect the organization's stability and open the door for its ongoing success by proactively addressing possible issues.
Responsibilities
Internal Audit and Risk:
- Review and comment on the economy, efficiency, and effectiveness of operations and monitor the environment in which the business operates to ensure that the business is adequately safeguarded against waste, fraud, and avoidable loss.
- Ensure that adequate records of Internal Audit, Control, and Compliance work done are kept in specified locations in both hard and soft copies;
- Assess the adequacy of the design of existing controls within the business unit and proffer recommendations; Identity, assess and report on risks of the business unit.
- Monitor the operating business environment for adequate segregation of duties to ensure that no single person has independent control over any important aspect of the business.
- Assist process owners integrate risk management into their day-to-day activities.
- Assist the Head, Internal Audit, and Risk in the drafting of Standard Operating Procedures and review of Policy documents across the group.
- Examine the correctness of financial and operating information prepared for management and detailed testing of transactions and balances contained in the income statement and balance sheet respectively.
- Verify and review the procedures laid down for periodical verification/reconciliation and testing of different sections of accounting records to ensure that they are accurate and sustainable.
- Follow up on all control, compliance, and audit issues (internal & external) and recommendations.
- Identify Risk to determine whether possible hazards could impact the organization's finances, operations, and reputation.
- Analyze risk and assess the possibility and consequences of hazards that have been discovered.
- Create and put into action plans to reduce or eliminate hazards.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures for risk management.
- Develop quarterly Key Risk Indicator (KRI)Template for 10 Top risks.
- Update Company Risk Register.
Administrative:
- Assist the Head, of Internal Audit and Risk in preparing and executing the annual Internal Audit Plan, with the approval of the Group Managing Director. The plan must ensure effective coverage of all the business units’ core business processes and resource management processes.
- Update the regulatory rule book of the business unit with emerging regulatory compliance which may have arisen either through internal changes or new legislation.
- Compile Internal Audit and Control reports and submit to the Head of Internal Audit and Risk on a periodic and ad-hoc basis;
Qualifications
- BSc/HND in Accounting, Business administration, Economics, Finance, or any other related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 -5 years of relevant experience in Audit/Assurance and Enterprise Risk Management
- ACA; CISA or ACCA
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Must be fully conversant with the Company’s Business processes, Audit procedures, and accounting policies, principles, and practices.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management and control environment would be essential.
