We are recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions:
1.) Team Lead, Fund Operations
Job Location: Lagos

Report to: Head of Operations
Job Purpose
- We are seeking to hire a Team Lead for Mutual Funds Operations.
- This role oversees the end-to-end operational processes of mutual fund transactions, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- It involves managing trade processing, reconciliations, reporting, and client service functions while leading a team to ensure seamless fund administration and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily subscriptions, redemptions, and transfers of mutual fund units, ensuring timely execution
- Ensure appropriate postings of all daily transactions before the system update for timely end of day system update.
- Ensure Bank Reconciliations are sent out weekly
- Ensuring all customer postings and investment booking are done timely
- Weekly GL review of accounts to ensure appropriateness and report of the review
- Ensure accurate portfolio valuations by reconciling fund assets with custodian and investment records.
- Preparation and Submission of Monthly and Quarterly Regulatory Reports to SEC
- Payments of Dividends for the mutual funds as at when due
- Perform daily, monthly, and periodic functions relating to fund accounting and record-keeping,
- Lead automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency of mutual fund transaction processing
- Prepare Audit Schedules and lead the Mutual fund audit for all funds
- Other Tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
Education
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A second degree (MBA/MSc) and/or completion of relevant professional certifications (CFA) will be an added advantage.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in operations in capital market.

The incumbent must have proficiency knowledge in the following areas:
- Very good use of Microsoft Excel
- The use of Accounting Software
- Stockbroking/Asset management core application (e.g. SYMPLUS, infoware etc.).

2.) Private Wealth Advisor

Job Purpose
- Cordros Asset Management Limited seeks highly motivated and experienced Wealth Advisor to join our team at Cordros Wealth.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, developing new relationships, and providing comprehensive wealth management solutions.
Responsibilities
- Establish portfolios of high net-worth clients (NGN100million+ in liquid assets)
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Provide comprehensive wealth management solutions, including investment management, financial planning, and estate planning
- Identify and capitalize on new business development opportunities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver a holistic wealth management experience
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g, Finance, Economics, Business Administration)
- Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP) are an added advantage.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in wealth management, investment banking, or a related field
- For non-banking professionals, minimum of three years’ experience in Asset Management sales, Wealth Management, Marketing, or Business consultancy.

Job Purpose
- Cordros Asset Management Limited seeks a highly skilled and results-driven Equity Trader to manage trade execution, optimize portfolio performance, and implement sophisticated trading strategies.
- The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in executing trades, monitoring market trends, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while maximizing returns for the firm’s investment strategies.
Responsibilities
- Execute buy and sell orders for equities and other securities across local and international markets.
- Monitor stock market trends, economic indicators, and corporate developments to identify profitable trading opportunities.
- Develop and implement trading strategies to enhance profitability and manage risks.
- Collaborate with research analysts and portfolio managers to align trading decisions with investment strategies.
- Maintain strong relationships with brokers, market makers, and institutional clients.
- Provide real-time market commentary and trade performance reports to senior management.
- Maintain a deep understanding of equity markets, macroeconomic factors, and sectoral trends impacting securities.
- Utilize analytical models, and market research tools to optimize execution and performance.
