We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Finance Executive (Tax)

Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Description


  • Responsible for all Statutory compliance and ensure correct postings in appropriate ledgers eg all taxes, pension etc.
  • Update internal systems with financial data
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Responsible for tax Management and regulatory compliance of tax reporting/returns
  • Ensure accurate computation of all tax liabilities.
  • Participate in financial audits
  • Assist with budget preparation
  • Review and implement financial policies
  • Liaise with the tax consultants to ensure that the company's overall interests are protected during tax investigations and queries.
  • Ensure complete documentation of relevant supports and proof of tax remittance.
  • Monitor current and impending changes to tax regulation and make the appropriate updates to policies and strategies

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess a First Degree in Finance / Accounting
  • Minimum of 4 years relevant (tax) experience
  • Must be ICAN  certified

2.) Finance Officer (Reconciliation)

Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Job type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Daily reconciliation of the bank statements in various banks 
  • Reconciling all POS transactions to settlement ledgers
  • Postings of all revenue collections as it relates to Box office, Concessions and Cube Bookings across all sites for cash, card and other sources.
  • Weekly tracking and reconciliation of all Cube Bookings, determining outstanding invoices and advise on discounted invoices.
  • Prepare for payment and advise Treasury Team on all Statutory payments on a monthly basis by preparing the time-table for specific form of tax not later than 1 day after deployment of this document.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliation reports regarding all cash deposits to the bank(s)
  • Assist auditors – internal and external – with documentation required for the auditors to do their job satisfactorily
  • Perform the reconciliation and verification of accounts regarding cash at hand and cash at bank
  • Investigation, reconciliation and posting of refunds to guests as a result of overcharge.
  • Account ownership for all statutory accounts for monthly Balance Sheet review

3.) Handyman

Job Location: Benin City, Edo

Job Description
Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities include the following and other duties as may be assigned:

  • Assumes responsibility for the implementation of maintenance schedule for electrical equipment.
  • Work with Facility Manager to implement maintenance schedule for all electrical equipment.
  • Assumes responsibility for proper lightening in cinema
  • Ensure that all burnt bulb is replace immediately in office and in the entire cinema.
  • Ensure that all electrical panels and equipment are properly maintained.
  • Carry out routine check on electrical equipment.
  • Ensure constant light in the toilet.
  • Responds to emergency call outs.
  • Assumes responsibility for ensuring proper repairs of electrical equipment.
  • Carry out repairs on electrical panels and equipment in management office and the entire cinema.
  • Ensure that electrical panels and equipment are not overload.
  • Ensure that all contractors and vendors comply with safety rules and regulation
  • Ensure that the work area is clean, secure and as well maintained
  • Ensure that bad furniture is properly fixed
  • Ensures that the user of electrical equipment comply with manufacturing specification and IEE regulation.
  • Carry out routine checks on electrical panels and equipment to avoid breakdown
  • Assumes responsibility for maintaining safety culture
  • Ensure proper maintenance of the building such as painting
  • Ensure proper maintenance of retail equipment in the location

Qualifications

  • The right candidate must have a minimum of OND / HND / BSc. / Trade Test
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in handling Electrical equipment and Installations
  • Knowledge of basic working principle of mechanical equipment.
  • He/ She must have the ability to keep abreast of the trend in this field of expertise and make practical application of specialized knowledge in everyday situations.
