We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:
1.) Financial Accounting Teacher
Job Location: Owerri, Imo
Job Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons in Financial Accounting using both Nigerian and British curriculum standards
- Break down complex concepts like journal entries, balance sheets, and financial reporting
- Guide students through real-life case studies, simulations, and exam preparation
- Create lesson plans, assignments, and assessments that track student growth
- Prepare learners for WAEC, IGCSE, and other relevant exams
- Support overall academic excellence and contribute to school growth initiative.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Business Education, or a related field
- 2+ years of teaching experience in Financial Accounting at the secondary level
- Excellent communication and class management skills
- Familiarity with exam standards (WAEC/NECO/IGCSE)
- Ability to connect theory with real-world finance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or any accounting software is a plus
- TRCN Certification is an added advantage.

2.) School Cook
Job Location: Owerri, Imo
Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Role
- A reputable private school is seeking a reliable and experienced School Cook to prepare healthy, hygienic, and well-balanced meals for students and staff.
- The ideal candidate must be passionate about cooking, food safety, and working in a school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare daily meals for students and staff according to approved menus
- Ensure all meals meet hygiene and nutrition standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and food storage areas
- Monitor food inventory and report when restocking is needed
- Adhere to food safety regulations and follow proper food handling procedures
- Support the school in serving meals promptly and in an orderly manner
- Accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies as needed
- Coordinate with school management on meal planning and portion control
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE; catering or food safety certification is an added advantage
- Proven experience as a cook (school preferred)
- Knowledge of healthy, child-friendly meal preparation
- Ability to manage time and serve multiple portions efficiently
- Strong hygiene, cleanliness, and organization habits
- Must reside within or near Owerri or be willing to commute.

3.) Kitchen Assistant
Job Location: Owerri, Imo

About the Role
- We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Kitchen Assistant to support daily food preparation and kitchen operations.
- The ideal candidate will help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment while assisting the cook with meal prep and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing ingredients (washing, chopping, portioning)
- Help with cooking and plating meals under the cook’s supervision
- Wash dishes and ensure proper storage of clean items
- Assist with receiving and storing kitchen supplies
- Clean kitchen surfaces, utensils, equipment, and dining areas
- Serve meals to students and staff in a timely and hygienic manner
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Support the cook in any other kitchen-related tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent
- Previous experience in a school kitchen or food environment is an advantage
- Willingness to learn and take instructions
- Good hygiene practices and attention to cleanliness
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods
- Must be punctual, respectful, and a team player.

4.) School Security Officer
Job Location: Owerri, Imo
Job Type: Full-Time
About the Role
- We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Security Officer to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and school property.
- The ideal candidate will be observant, reliable, and capable of managing access control, patrols, and basic incident response in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the school premises at all entry and exit points
- Conduct regular patrols within and around the school compound
- Ensure the safety of students, staff, visitors, and school property
- Respond to security incidents, emergencies, or unusual activities promptly
- Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized activities or intruders
- Record all incidents and observations in the security logbook
- Work closely with school management to enforce safety and emergency procedures
- Check and screen visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel
- Support with school traffic and student movement during drop-off/pick-up hours
Requirements
- Previous experience in security (school or corporate environment preferred)
- Physically fit and able to stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic understanding of emergency response procedures
- Strong observation and reporting skills
- Trustworthy, respectful, and able to work with children
- Must live within Owerri or its environs.
