We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Data Administrator

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time


Job Objective

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Administrator to join our team.
  • As a Data Administrator, your primary responsibility will be to rectify and correct data inconsistencies and errors within our organization’s databases.
  • Your keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in data management tools will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify and rectify data inconsistencies and errors within the organization’s databases.
  • Conduct thorough data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and discrepancies.
  • Perform data audits to ensure data accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to resolve data-related issues and provide timely updates.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of rectification activities, processes, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and rectification needs.
  • Develop and implement data rectification strategies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Utilize data management tools and software to clean, validate, and correct data.
  • Monitor data quality metrics and generate reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in data management techniques.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Diploma (or equivalent work experience) in a technical field

Experience & Skills:

2.) Network Architect (IP)

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Objective

  • As part of the Engineering team, plan, design, select technologies & equipment, implement, and make required changes to the WIOCC IP/MPLS network within budget and timelines and to the correct level of quality and performance to enable client services, satisfaction and revenue to be maintained and to meet or improve company targets.
  • To be acknowledged as 4th level technical competence relating to the IP network.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plan and design of new access, metro and core IP/MPLS networks
  • Develop Policies, Procedures, Processes, Standards, Specifications and Work Instructions related to IP/MPLS engineering design, planning, maintenance, and operations
  • Liaise with internal Project Managers and 3rd party suppliers that ensure IP/MPLS networks are designed and deployed according to design
  • Interact with both internal and external clients
  • Management & planning of overall IP/MPLS network, including auditing and record management
  • Prepare RFP technical and strategy documents for procurement of IP/MPLS networks
  • Support product development
  • Initiate, plan, submit, track, manage and implement change requests for network optimization
  • Manage and track the IP/MPLS annual budget
  • Keep track of stock, spares, drawdowns and reorder levels
  • Ensure all documentation is up to date and stored on the designated platforms for easy access and retrieval

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent, Master's preferred) in a technical field
  • Requires a minimum of 10 year of technical experience in the telecom industry with at least 8 years in network engineering, network design role or equivalent
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills evidenced by work history and accomplishments
  • Excellent communication and soft skills, including the ability to listen to and summarize and concisely share key information with clients
  • Advanced knowledge of packet-switched networks (Ethernet, IP/MPLS, IGPs, BGP).
  • Advanced knowledge in supporting IP/MPLS equipment i.e. Mikrotik, Juniper, Tejas Networks etc
  • Advanced knowledge in network monitoring tools e.g. Cacti, MRTG, PRTG, NPM etc
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced understanding of IGPs, MPLS, MPLS-TP, BGP

Experience & Skills:

  • CCIE or JNCIE or equivalent
  • Proven track record of proficiently establishing and developing IP, MPLS and MPLS-TP networks within a complex organization
  • Expert use B/OSS tools effectively to record information accurately and concisely in a timely manner

3.) Network Architect (Fibre)

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Objective

  • As part of the Engineering team, plan, design, select technologies & equipment, implement, and make required changes to the access and core fibre routes on the metro and backbone network within budget and timelines and to the correct level of quality and performance to enable client services, satisfaction and revenue to be maintained and to meet or improve company targets.
  • To be acknowledged as the technical competence relating to the fibre network engineering within the organisation.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plan and design of new access, metro and core duct and fiber routes, spurs, and PoP sites entries, MMRs
  • Develop Policies, Procedures, Processes, Standards, Specifications and Work Instructions related to fibre engineering design, planning, maintenance, and operations
  • Liaise with internal Project Managers and 3rd party suppliers that ensure fibre networks are designed and deployed according to design
  • Keep track of material stock, drawdowns and reorder levels
  • Interact with both internal and external clients & relevant government agencies
  • Management & planning of overall fiber network, including auditing and record management (fibre route plans, as-built documentation)
  • Prepare RFP technical and strategy documents for procurement of fibre materials
  • Plan, submit, track and manage wayleaves and rights of way
  • Initiate, plan, submit, track, manage and implement change requests for network optimisation
  • Manage and track the fibre annual budget
  • Ensure all documentation is up to date and stored on the designated platforms for easy access and retrieval

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent work experience) in a technical field
  • 8 year of technical experience in the telecom industry
  • 5 years in network fibre planning and design or equivalent role
  • Expert in GIS and OSS systems
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Visio
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills evidenced by work history and accomplishments
  • Excellent communications and soft skills, including ability to listen, summarize and concisely share key information with clients or internal stakeholders
  • Optical networking experience, including OTDR, optical link budget calculations, fibre types, and testing
  • Basic knowledge of network equipment i.e. Routers, Switches, DWDM, OTN
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems in a fast-paced environment

Experience & Skills:

  • Comprehensive understanding of the fiber market, including its providers and infrastructure
  • Proven track record of proficiently establishing and developing fiber technology competencies within a complex organization
  • Proficiency in working with database hierarchies and utilizing SQL for data management
  • Knowledge of ISP planning, scaling and design
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize B/OSS (Business/Operations Support Systems) tools to record information accurately and succinctly in a timely fashion
