We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Government Liaison Officer

Job Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

  • We are seeking an experienced Government liaison officer to join our team. This position requires a nuanced understanding of state and federal government structures, protocols, and business practices. The ideal candidates will be required to work 5 days a week, with occasional evenings and weekends for special events

Responsibilities

  • The officer will be responsible for facilitating effective communication and maintaining robust relationships between Youverify and various government entities at the local, state and national levels.
  • Coordinate and manage visits from government officials, adhering to official protocols. This includes organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and ensuring that cultural norms and governmental protocols are respected. Ensure that any government visit is officially recorded.
  • Communicate Youverify’s positions on various issues to Nigerian government stakeholders at the direction of the Board/MD.
  • Develop and submit official correspondence, policy briefs, and reports in a manner that aligns with local requirements and governmental procedures.
  • Assist with coordinating and organizing events involving government participation. Ensure that they meet both Youverify’s and the Nigerian government’s protocol standards.
  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with government officials, departments, and agencies. Serve as Youverify’s primary representative in all government interactions.
  • Ensure Youverify’s compliance with laws and regulations at all levels. Stay informed about legislative and regulatory changes within the Nigerian context that could impact the organization.
  • Establish and maintain a network of contacts within the Nigerian government to facilitate efficient communication and operations.

Qualification, Skills, and Knowledge

  • Appropriate Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 5 - 8 years of work experience.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong emphasis on government liaison or protocol management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of government structures, processes, and cultural nuances. Prior experience with the various Federal Ministries would be helpful.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and understanding of business ethics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English and Hausa being essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Individuals residing in Abuja will be preferred

2.) Partnership Specialist

Job Location: Yaba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We seek a dynamic Partnership Specialist to join our team. As a Partnership Specialist, you will identify partnership opportunities, negotiate agreements, and ensure that collaborations are mutually beneficial and align with Youverify’s strategic goals.
  • You will serve as the main point of contact for partners and ensure smooth communication and coordination between parties.
  • The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of both the company’s offerings and the partners’ needs to aid enhancing the organization’s market presence and achieving collaborative objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate potential new partners by analyzing market trends and competitors’ partnership strategies to ensure alignment with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Develop and negotiate partnership agreements, including terms of collaboration, financial arrangements, and mutual expectations, to ensure clarity and alignment between parties.
  • Manage the business performance of partners and develop strategies to work towards business growth goals and help partners grow their practice
  • Coordinate with internal teams, such as marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure successful integration and execution of partnership initiatives.
  • Organize and participate in partnership meetings, presenting proposals, and progress reports, and addressing any concerns to maintain strong and productive relationships.
  • Implement and manage partnership programs, monitoring performance metrics and adjusting strategies as necessary to maximize effectiveness and achieve targets.
  • Facilitate communication between partner organizations and the company, acting as a liaison to ensure smooth collaboration and address any issues that arise.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of all partnership activities, agreements, and communications for legal compliance and reference.
  • Research and apply for partnership awards and recognitions, enhancing the company’s reputation and showcasing successful collaborations.
  • Resolve business and operational issues with our partners to ensure a healthy ecosystem of partners.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelors in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related fields
  • At least 5 years of proven work experience in a similar role. Experience in a SaaS company will be a plus.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to foresee and interpret market trends and data.

3.) Sales Account Manager

Job Location: Yaba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We seek a motivated and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our team. As a Sales Account Manager, you will manage customer relationships, build and maintain relationships with key contacts, and develop and implement strategic sales plans. You will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Customer Service/Success and Product Development departments) to improve the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development and Sales:

  • Identify and target new business opportunities in the compliance solutions market especially with the commercial banks and top fintech.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and lead generation.
  • Organize and lead key accounts meetings.
  • Generate and develop new business opportunities using existing and potential customer networks and identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas

Client Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target organizations.
  • Understand client requirements and provide tailored compliance solutions to meet their needs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and engagement.

Negotiation and Closing:

  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and quotations to clients.
  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and agreements to close sales deals.
  • Work closely with the legal and finance teams to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during contract negotiations.

Product and Industry Knowledge:

  • Maintain a deep understanding of our compliance solutions portfolio and its applications.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in compliance.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team on market needs and potential enhancements.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; Masters or MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in compliance solutions or related fields.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong sales and business development acumen with a record of outstanding delivery.
  • Proven work experience as a Sales Account Manager in Tech Industries, the Financial Sector, or Telecommunication sector.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
  • Hands-on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce/Zoho) and sales analytics tools.
