FairMoney is building the leading mobile bank for emerging markets. We started with a digital microcredit application on Android, and currently roll out additional financial services (current account, savings, debit card) while expanding the product to Western Africa and South-East Asia.

Description
As a Junior Graphic Designer at FairMoney, you will be responsible for mainly, but not limited to:
- Create marketing materials that have a high visual impact, and help present our products and services to the public in a breakthrough way.
- Become familiar with the brand guidelines, images, components, and the overall brand identity of FairMoney.
- Work within existing brand guidelines and designs to version out comms collateral, image-based e-mails, and digital assets for our online & offline channels.
- Maintain technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications and staying up to date on marketing and design trends, etc.
- Work well as part of a collaborative team, and directly with the Senior Graphic Designer, Content Marketing Lead, Head of Marketing, and outside agencies (when necessary).
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a Junior Designer.
- Experience with animation design software (e.g. Adobe After Effects), graphics editing tools (e.g. Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, ), and video editing tools (e.g Premiere Pro).
- Understanding of visual elements (layout, type, and fonts).
- Teamwork skills.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Time management and multitasking abilities.
- Creativity skills and problem-solving aptitude.
- Photography skill is a plus.

Recruitment Process
- A screening interview with one of the members of the Talent Acquisition team for 30 minutes.
- Technical interview with the members of the Brand Marketing team for 45-60 minutes.
- Design assignment (take away) followed by Portfolio discussion.
- Technical Interview with the Head of Marketing and Branding (Nengi Akinola) for 45 minutes.
