Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Achieve safe operations (Goal Zero), i.e., No Harm & No Leaks and No Ethical Breaches, acting as Company Representative on site.
• Responsible for driving team compliance with the Health, Safety, Security, the Environment
• and Social Performance (SEAM) framework, IOGP Life Saving Rules, Safe Work Process Permit Compliance/Tracking and other extant regulations while delivering on business targets in a responsible manner.
• Responsible for verifying the company’s material handling and port facilities management performance in line with contract at company’s locations, safely, ethically, and transparently. Interpret Official Cargo manifest for all vessel shipment from base to offshore and vice versa.
• Provide good safety leadership and sustain awareness for effective frontline work execution
• at the company’s locations supply base.
• Sustain barrier strengthening and effective management of transport risks as the Site
• Transport Risks Focal Point at the company’s location frontline.
• Provide effective representation of the company’s interest while managing risks and
  • delivering value to the business.
• Ensure timely provision of Logistics and Supply Base Support in engagements, meeting the
  • regularly changing demand of the various offshore assets.
• Support enhanced business planning and performance management for the base
  • operations and actively track actions to close-out. Collate weekly/monthly reports and KPI
  • dashboard.
• Maintain effective interface between the Marine Operation, Quality Assurance an Resource
  • Optimization in resolving key constraints within the logistics value chain.
• Ensure strict compliance to the company procurement guidelines for all supplies and service
  • provision to the Onne/Lagos supply base. Know and comply with subcontracting guidelines.
• Ensure proper storage, packaging, and preservation of materials in transit and storage.
• Responsible for all inbound and outbound material movement vessel shipment required for
  • optimization of Supply Base Operations. And maintain the inventory as well as perform yard
  • supervision.
• Effectively track and manage equipment request and optimization to reduce cost and
  • maximize value to the business. Track integrity status of equipment.
• Review all material handling activities via Job Sheet verification for effective cost control.
• Drive initiatives for continuous process improvement and integrate HSSE awareness into
  • every facet of the material handling and storage operations.
• Prioritize safe, efficient planning and safe execution of all lifting and hoisting operations in line with company Lifting & Hoisting guideline.
• Supervise and ensure daily customers request are properly addressed.
• Maintain effective oversight over the offshore cargo carrying units request and supply to
  • prevent value erosion in the supply chain. Maintain records of all cargo carry units an ensure
  • they are certified and in compliance with recommended current lifting colour code and other relevant QA/QC activities. Support cargo carrying unit contract management by ensuring optimal utilization and quick turnaround.
• Actively drive 1st line assurance audit, Hazard hunt of the supply base & port facilities in line
  • with company standards and safety culture.
• Facilitate the management of accommodation and feeding of company personnel at work.
• Ensure all NPA pilotage and material handling bills are properly reconciled and accurate before service entry issuance/ processing.
• Ensure all contractor bills are properly reconciled and accurate before service entry issuance/processing.
• Synergize with the land transport logistics team for seamless trucking of materials to and from the base.
• Set, review, and monitor effective space utilization regime of the stacking area of the supply
• base.
• Actively support Management Facility Engagements at the Supply Base.
• Promote worker welfare and safety at the workplace/base facility.
• Key interfaces include Marine Logistics, Production, Wells Ops, Projects, other Warehouses,
• Fuel, Audit/Assurance team.
• Any other role assigned by the Supply Base Lead.
• Work location is Supply Base Onne/Lagos, staff may be located in Port Harcourt or Lagos.

Minimum Qualification Skill and Experience – Logistics Base Accounting Officer

• BSc/BEng in Science, Management or Engineering, with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in

Supply Base Management.

• A PGD in Logistics & Supply Chain Management is an added advantage.
• Customer Relationship & Management
• Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook
• Interface Management
• Supply Chain Management
• HSSE Awareness Modules, PTW course, MOC Awareness, First Line Spill Awareness
• CILT or any relevant certification is an added advantage
