Job Position: Marketing Officer

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

About The Role

• We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Marketing Officer to drive admissions, elevate brand awareness, and contribute to our school's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members on marketing projects and events that drive enrollment and generate awareness.
• Develop and execute event marketing and communication projects, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations.
• Continuously track the impact and performance of all marketing activities and pupil retention projects in approved formats.
• Research and propose 3rd party partnerships to foster mutually beneficial relationships.
• Produce compelling content marketing collateral (e.g., presentations, blog posts, social media content, flyers etc.).
• Carry out field marketing activities that generate awareness.
• Conduct competitor marketing research to stay informed about industry trends.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Undertake ad-hoc tasks and activities as required.

Candidate Profile, Skills and Experience

• Possess a University Degree in the Humanities.
• Well-developed English language and speaking skills.
• Must have basic IT and literacy skills, especially how to use Google Suite eg. write in Google Doc, etc.
• Demonstrable project planning, organization, and management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Comfortable in fast-paced environments, adept at working under pressure.
• Budget management experience.
• Excellent communication skills, engaging various stakeholders.
• Quick learner that's able to grasp educational system, as well as fundamental marketing principles within a short period
• Confident and influential with the ability to motivate others.
• Willingness to work weekends for school events.

• Satisfactory references.
• Verification of qualifications and work experience.
