Responsibilities & Accountabilities


Material quality assurance have been identified as key focus areas for improvement to deliver business needs in line with Oil industry SEAM (Safety, Environmental and Asset Management) guidelines. The Materials Preservation Coordinator and QA/QC Support Engineer is required to coordinate and drive implementation of maintenance Integrity execution, material management, activity coordination, QA/QC and material preservation across all the companies’ assets and Warehouses and locations. Other responsibilities include:

  • Create and update all company’s materials preservation procedures.
  • Maintain Share Point site where all preservation documents are to-be made domiciled with access to appropriate persons.
  • Develop materials preservation maintenance plans – Preventive and Corrective.
  • Coordinate materials preservation - both preventive and corrective maintenance plan
  • Supervise specialized preservation activities and produce weekly/monthly reports.
  • Support Compliance Lead in the management of company’s Preservation Contract.
  • Develop, Maintain and Update Maintenance Job Routines (MJR) for all critical materials group,
  • Support creation of Work Orders, Purchase Requests, Purchase Orders and Service Entries for Specialized Preservation Contract.
  • Work with warehouse team to ensure that all planned Preservation PMs/CMs (Basic- and Specialized) activities are carried out according to plan.
  • Manage basic preservation through PM Work Orders and ensure the WOs are technically completed after work completion.
  • Coordinate Weekly Preservation Performance reporting.

Minimum Qualification

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in engineering or physical sciences (preferably Mechanical Engineering).

Experience

  • 7 years’ experience in the Oil and gas sector.
  • Good knowledge of material management End-End processes.
  • Good Knowledge of Materials Preservation & QA/QC.
  • Good knowledge of variety of materials including mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical materials used in the integrated Oil and Gas sector.
  • Experience in Materials Inspection, Inventory and Ware House Management.
  • Ability to plan for events and supervise vendors while on-site (i.e. Turnaround, Preservation, Material Storage, Audits)
  • Ability to interpret Key Performance Indicators to monitor performance of vendors.
  • Identify & execute Continuous Improvement Initiatives, coaching teams/individuals and developing skills of others, identifying and sharing best practices in company’s operations.
  • Experience in using SAP-Materials Management to manage materials, maintenance plans and resources.
  • Working skills in Microsoft office applications such as MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
  • Strong Analytical skills.
  • Understanding of Oil Industry SEAM (Safety, Environmental and Asset Management) guidelines and experience of implementing HSE regulations.
