Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our construction team in Lagos.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, supervision, and maintenance of mechanical systems on construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, review, and supervise mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems
• Interpret and implement mechanical drawings and specifications accurately
• Coordinate effectively with site engineers, technicians, contractors, and laborers
• Monitor installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and standards
• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems
• Prepare technical reports, material specifications, and progress updates
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on site
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during construction and post-installation
• Support project delivery to meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized and reputable university
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in a reputable construction company
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Committed, hardworking, and passionate about delivering high-quality work.

Salary
N260,000 – N300,000 monthly.
