1.) State Project Coordinator
Job Location: Sokoto
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Description
- The State Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and implementing DMPA-SC/SI programs in Sokoto state.
- This role involves developing strategies, coordinating activities, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality self-injection services to beneficiaries at the health facility and community level.
- The coordinator works closely with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and clients to promote reproductive health of women through DMPA-SC/SI uptake across the 23 LGAs of Sokoto state.
Responsibilities
- Successful candidate will work closely with the Technical Lead Service Delivery and Demand Generation, Evaluation and Learning Advisor and other project staff.
- Liaise with the State and LGAs FP coordinators to develop, implement, and evaluate DMPA-SC/SI programs and services in Sokoto state.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure the availability and accessibility of self-injection resources in Sokoto state.
- In Collaboration with State and LGAs FP coordinator, organize and conduct Empathy- based training workshops for healthcare providers and community volunteers on self-injection.
- Monitor self-injection program performance and outcomes, using data to make informed decisions and improvements.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote DMPA-SC/SI services.
- Organize and participate in community outreach events, workshops, and informational sessions on self-injection.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of self-injection program activities and client interactions.
- Advocate for the inclusion of self-injection in local health agendas and policies.
- Lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of self-injection programs and activities.
- Prepare reports on self-injection program performance, client outcomes, and community impact.
- Manage budgets, grants, and funding sources related to DMPA-SC/SI activities in Sokoto state.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Nursing, Social Work, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in family planning, reproductive health, or a related field.
- Experience in program management and community outreach is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of family planning and reproductive health.
- Experience in working with diverse and multi-diciplinary teams, excellent in Time management and organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations and community organizations.
- Proficient in data analysis and program evaluation.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Strong facilitation skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

2.) Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Optimizer
Job Location: Azare, Bauchi
Employment Type: Contract
Job Summary
- The G-ANC/PNC project is a 2-year project awarded by the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation through Technical Advice connect.
- This project provides technical assistance to Bauchi state to layer high impact interventions on G-ANC/PNC platform for improved maternal and newborn outcomes in the State.
- This will be achieved by supporting the SMoH and SPHCDA to accelerate coverage and quality of RMNCAH+N Hlls.
- With the goal of strengthening PHC systems, improving service delivery and uptake of RMNCAH+N Hlls along the continuum of care layering on the G- ANC/PNC model.
- The state will spearhead the G-ANC scaleup, and Jhpiego is providing technical assistance.
- The project will commence full implementation of G-ANC/PNC project in about 158 primary health facilities.
Responsibilities
- To supervise data entry clerks assigned to you
- To ensure that data clerks under your supervision effectively carry out all task assigned to them
- To support data clerks mentor facility staff on proper data documentation and reporting in all RMNCH related NHMIS tools and supplementary tools
- To performs regular data quality checks and monitors for gaps
- To support data clerks' and facility QI teams in monthly data collation and validation meetings and support them use their data for decision making
- To validate data reported by data clerks on project monthly summary form
- To ensure timely data entry into Donor and Project DHIS platform
- To conduct bi-monthly data quality audit using standardized tool
- Participate in LGA data validation meetings
- Address any other M&E issues as they present on the field
Performance Measurement:
- Complete, correct and timely documentation of client's information in service delivery registers by facility staff supported by data clerks
- Complete, accurate and timely data validation of data reported by data clerks and entry into Jhpiego and donor DHIS platform
- Completed timesheet authenticated by Jhpiego M&E
Required Qualifications
- Must have post SSCE degree qualification (Diploma, Degrees).
- Strong understanding of NHMIS data tools and reporting processes
- Previous experience in data collection, research, or fieldwork activities preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working in fast-paced environments.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with DHIS platforms
- Be resident in LGA/Bauchi state.
- Speaks the local dialect and English language will be an added advantage
- Willing and committed to work on Jhpiego volunteer engagement terms.
- Good supervisory skill and previous experience is a plus
- Demonstrated diligence and commitment in delivery of assigned deliverable (Added advantage).
3.) Data Entry Clerk
Job Location: Azare, Bauchi
Employment Type: Contract
Job Summary
- The G-ANC/PNC project is a 2-year project awarded by the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation through Technical Advice connect.
- This project provides technical assistance to Bauchi state to layer high impact interventions on G-ANC/PNC platform for improved maternal and newborn outcomes in the State.
- This will be achieved by supporting the SMoH and SPHCDA to accelerate coverage and quality of RMNCAH+N Hlls.
- With the goal of strengthening PHC systems, improving service delivery and uptake of RMNCAH+N Hlls along the continuum of care layering on the G- ANC/PNC model.

- The project will commence full implementation of G-ANC/PNC project in about 206 primary health facilities.
Responsibilities
- To ensure that all services in the HFs are documented in the appropriate NHMIS tools/registers by facility staff.
- To mentor facility staff on proper data documentation and reporting in all RMNCH related NHMIS tools and supplementary tools
- To performs regular data quality checks and monitors for gaps.
- To support facility QI teams in monthly data collation and validation meetings and support them use their data for decision making.
- To support health facilities, collate and enter data into the project monthly summary form
- To support facilities, ensure no stock out of data documentation and reporting tools by liaising with relevant stakeholders.
- Address any other M&E issues as they present on the field.
Performance Measurement:
- Complete, correct, and timely documentation of client's information in service delivery registers by facility staff
- Complete, accurate and timely data reporting and submission of project MSF to M&E optimizer
- Completed timesheet authenticated by a M&E Optimizer and Jhpiego M&E
Required Qualifications
- Must have basic education qualification at least (S.S.C.E, Diploma, Degrees).
- Strong understanding of NHMIS data tools and reporting processes
- Previous experience in data collection, research, or fieldwork activities preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working in fast-paced environments.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with data collection tools or software
