Job Position: Mathematics Teacher
Job Location: Abuja
Category: Academic
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare effective lesson plans that align with the school curriculum.
- Responsible for creating a learning environment that encourages students to think independently, critically, and innovatively.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff and encourage knowledge sharing.
- Adopt innovative teaching methods and utilize technology when available in the delivery of lessons.
- Responsible for starting and ending classes in a timely manner.
- Evaluate student performance by using both formal and informal assessment strategies.
- Keep and update required records and write progress reports.
- Ensure that the teaching environment is neat and organized at all times.
- Adopt excellent classroom management strategies.
- Liaise and collaborate with departmental heads as required.
- Identify student academic challenges and make adequate use of resource areas and materials to improve teaching and learning.
- Other duties as assigned by the departmental head.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in any Course of Study. A Degree in English or any Math related course would be an added advantage
- Have expert knowledge in the respective subject areas.
- Seek opportunities for professional growth and the acquisition of knowledge in the subject area.
- Proven creativity in the subject area.

Job Position: Health Safety and Environment Officer
Job Location: Abuja
Category: Non-Academic
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for overseeing the health and safety of the learning environment.
- Develop protocols to ensure a safe, quiet environment and ensure compliance.
- Ensure orderliness before, during and after classes.
- Ensure a seamless flow of children/parents movement during pick up times.
- Responsible for the retrieval and management of all lost items.
- Ensure compliance with environmental protection requirements (e.g.,fumigation).
- Ensure discipline among children and counsel them on what is expected at all times.
- Identify hazards in the learning environment and carry out regular orientation for the children on health, safety, and environment policies/practices.
- Responsible for administering first aid when and where applicable.
- Keep record of all health and safety cases and events.
- Liaise with school authorities to ensure all necessary fire and emergency trainings/drills are carried out.
- Other related duties as may be required by the School authorities.

Job Position: Administrator
Job Location: Abuja
Category: Non-Academic
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the administrative offices and reception areas.
- Direct and monitor the activities and duties of administrative personnel.
- Responsible for managing and updating all student and staff records.
- Ensure that students are tested and placed in the appropriate classes/levels.
- Maintain all administrative systems and procedures.
- Ensure that student attendance is taken and reported as specified.
- Manage administrative communications within the center.
- Manage schedules and timekeeping.
- Assist in the organization and coordination of school events.
- Conduct the performance reviews of administrative staff members and support performance appraisal process of the organization.
- Prepare and update required reports.
- Ensure a proper record management system is put in place for vendors and consultants.
- Soliciting and contracting of professional services.
- Organize meetings and statutory events like seminars, trainings, and conferences, while ensuring adequate support for the events.
- Oversee the management and execution of all contracts with vendors and maintaining a database of all vendors and consultants.
- Develop and submit a budget for learning resources for each term and provide operational budget for day-to-day maintenance.
- Organizing meetings, drafting agendas, and taking minutes.
- Ensure that teachers report on time to their duty post.
- To undertake other related duties as may be assigned by the Center Director/Head of Center.
