Job Summary
- The Key Purpose of this role is to implement and uphold ABInBev safety standards.
- Manage the Distribution, Inventory and Warehousing function so that customer service levels can be optimized and that benchmarked productivity standards are met.
- Implement standard operating processes in line with DPO standards.
- Manage VLC, ZBB and FLC budgets in line with annual flexed targets.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to 5S standards and global policies, tracking improvements over time.
- Design and implement structured management cycles (SLA’s, KPIs, process maps) and ensure compliance.
- Continuously update and validate SOPs using management tools, ensuring understanding among warehouse employees.
- Manage and update team rooms through routine meetings to enhance problem-solving and performance.
- Develop and maintain MCRS/MCL processes and monitor adherence.
- Use methodologies like 5 WHY, PDCA, and RACI to address abnormalities and improve KPIs.
- Cascade KPIs and PIs to individual employees, standardize achievements, and track targets.
- Implement best practices, execute approved projects, and showcase progress.
- Align warehouse KPIs with GOPs to achieve a 75% compliance score.
- Utilize GAPA and PDCA to analyse and resolve long-term operational issues.
- Ensure daily adherence to inventory counts and policies, closing gaps using management tools.
- Maintain compliance with quality policies and address deficiencies through management tools.
- Oversee legal and environmentally compliant destruction and write-off of obsolete products.
- Identify root causes of inventory variances and implement corrective actions using problem-solving tools.
- Reduce supply chain overheads by managing stock age KPIs and using problem-solving methodologies.
- Monitor and analyze warehouse variances, leveraging management tools for continuous improvement.
- Ensure proper zoning for activities like empties, refusals, order picking, repacking, and finished goods.
- Track and optimize warehouse tools to meet ABC compliance standards.
- Use MCL routines to ensure adherence to all warehouse safety processes.
- Monitor ABC compliance, conduct time and motion studies, and track performance improvements.
- Monitor loading/unloading efficiency and track improvements over time.
- Implement and oversee effective load scheduling.
- Use management tools to identify and address root causes of inefficiencies.
- Ensure departure and return load verification for T1 and T2.
- Monitor cleanliness, pest control, chemical cross-contamination, temperature control, and product exposure.
- Ensure 75% compliance with Global Warehouse GOP and implement a Location-Based Inventory System.
- Address Stock Age Index KPI, monitor %HL near to be blocked, and enforce blocking standards for non-conforming inventory.
- Optimize sorting processes to reduce MBFU%, track breakage by operator to minimize costs, and improve productivity.
- Develop a quality induction program with 100% compliance and ensure adherence to distribution returns and repacking policies.
- Ensure compliance with safe and efficient picking routines.
- Design a picking area that eliminates man-machine interactions for safety and productivity.
- Establish and track picking KPIs/PIs, including cases per man-hour and replenishment adherence.
- Ensure adherence to sorting guidelines, proper resource planning, training, and quality inspections with corrective actions.
- Design a sorting area that eliminates man-machine interactions for safety and efficiency.
- Monitor sorting KPIs/PIs, including cases per man-hour, and drive positive MBFU improvements for the brewery.
- Ensure 75% compliance with the Warehouse Labour Productivity GOP to improve KPIs.
- Develop a sizing simulator for optimal labour and equipment allocation.
- Use the SKAP tool to allocate and assign workforce activities efficiently.
- Manage a Warehouse Capacity Utilisation model to enhance efficiency.
- Implement and oversee waste and recycling operations by material type (paper, plastic, metal, glass, food, etc.).
- Monitor and enhance TCT through visible action plans, measuring loading, unloading, and replenishment.
- Ensure a safe operation by driving awareness and compliance with all safety protocols.
- Maintain a healthy IR climate through documented monthly engagements with Union representatives.
- Ensure Shopfloor teams align on goals and meeting routines for ongoing progress.
- Conduct Monthly One-on-One meetings in line with target review processes.
- Maintain strong IR with partners (Owner Drivers, Temp Labour, Outsourced Services) via documented SLA meetings.
- Facilitate Monthly All-Employee meetings to keep communication transparent and inclusive.
- Foster an environment that enhances organizational effectiveness through team development within Dream People Culture and the Leadership Capability Model.
- Recruit a diverse workforce to strengthen team capabilities.
- Support employee growth by sharing insights and expertise.
- Provide timely, constructive feedback and effective coaching to enhance performance.
Minimum Requirements
- 3 year relevant Diploma / Degree.
- 3+ years Warehouse and/or logistics experience advantageous.
- Highly level computer user (MS Office, Oasis, Handheld devices).
- SAP proficient.
