J3 Foods and Store International is an FMCG distributor. We have been in existence over 8 years. J3 has branches in several locations; Lagos, Ibadan, Ogun, Ondo, and Osun state.

Description

• The Operations Manager oversees the daily operations of assigned outlets in Lagos, ensuring smooth distribution, inventory accuracy, team performance, and customer satisfaction, all in alignment with the J3 foods and stores international goals.
• This role serves as the direct representative of senior leadership across these branches, particularly in the absence of dedicated Branch Managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and manage all staff across the assigned outlets (warehouse, sales, cashier, delivery), ensuring efficient operations across all departments.
• Monitor daily activities across all outlets to ensure compliance with company standards, operational procedures, and policy guidelines.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and disciplinary guidance where necessary.
• Monitor and support the marketing team in meeting targets for direct buyers, bulk buyers & walk in customers. 5. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement weekly and monthly marketing and sales plans per outlet, and track progress.
• Track progress on sales targets across outlets and provide strategic guidance or adjustments to ensure goals are met.
• Ensure accurate daily reconciliation of sales and payments across all outlets under your supervision.
• Review and validate all stock movement (inward and outward), ensuring all inventory activities are properly documented.
• Supervise the delivery and return processes to minimize product damage, loss, and stock discrepancies.
• Conduct outlet visits, review outlet conditions (cleanliness, organization, safety), and escalate facility needs to HR/Admin where necessary. 1
• Act as the liaison between outlet teams and head office leadership, ensuring smooth communication, prompt escalation of issues, and consistent feedback.

KPIs

• Sales Volume Growth: Monthly and quarterly sales target achievement across assigned outlets.
• Stock Accuracy: Low variance between system records and physical stock.
• Sales Reconciliation Compliance: 100% daily sales and payment reconciliation across all branches.
• Customer satisfaction (complaints resolved within 24hrs).
• Operational Discipline: Outlet cleanliness, staff punctuality, and SOP compliance.
• Number of active customers retained and reactivated.

Results Expected:

• Consistent and smooth operations across all Lagos outlets under supervision.
• Growth in sales volume and achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Accurate and timely reconciliation of daily sales and payment records.
• Minimal stock variances through effective inventory monitoring and documentation.
• Improved customer satisfaction, with complaints resolved promptly (within 24 hours).
• Retention and reactivation of customers, contributing to increased customer loyalty and revenue.
• Operational discipline maintained across outlets, including staff punctuality, cleanliness, and SOP adherence.

Requirements

Salary
N150,000 - N160,000 / month
