Reime West Africa is a fully owned subsidiary of a global brand with head office at Casablanca in Morocco that provides Telecom Infrastructure Development and Maintenance Services to Telecom companies in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job position: Procurement Coordinator (Female)

Job Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Purpose of the job

  • The Procurement Executive will oversee all vendor/supplier-related functions to maximize efficiency and productivity.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities


  • Understand and validate the purchase requisitions (PR) from User Departments
  • Prepare RFP/RFQ and invite quotes from vendors
  • Prepare comparative statements of the quotations received from vendors to select the best source of supply.
  • Track and monitor savings generated through vendor development, negotiations, part development/product substitution or any other such initiative.
  • Ensure conversion of PR to PO (Purchase Order) with minimum turnaround time.
  • Track and manage Import shipments in coordination with Vendors, Freight forwarders and C&F agents.
  • Follow up with vendors to ensure on-time material/service delivery.
  • Coordinate with Stores for material requirement planning, Goods Inward and resolve logistics issues.
  • Ensure vendor payments are on time in coordination with accounts and finance teams
  • Minimize escalations through resolving trivial day-to-day procurement issues with Accounts, Stores and User departments.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management or a related discipline is preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Procurement Coordinator or similar is required.
  • Good experience and knowledge of Microsoft officeincluding Word & Excel
  • Good communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills.
