We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Procurement Officer
Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties / Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals, request RFQs, and negotiate purchase terms and conditions
• Source reliable vendors for materials, services, and equipment
• Review, compare, analyze, and recommend products and services to be purchased
• Monitor suppliers' performance and resolve issues and concerns
• Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve shortcomings
• Analyze industry and demand trends, and support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies
• Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts
• Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.

Requirements / Skills

• BSc/HND in Supply Chain Management or related discipline
• At least 2 years of experience in foreign and domestic procurement in an oil and gas servicing firm
• Knowledge of oilfield equipment, materials, and service contracts.
• Familiarity with NIPEX and Nigerian Content requirements is an added advantage.
• Strong data collection and analysis skills.

Salary
N150,000 - N170,000 Monthly.
