We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Production Engineer

Key Job Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and monitor the execution of the preventive maintenance plan and regularly updating the plan according to the machine condition and history.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure minimal breakdowns by implementing initiatives to reduce response time and reach the optimum solution in minimum time.
  • Ensure spare parts availability by collaborating with Procurement team to purchase all needed spare parts and maintenance consumables.
  • Utilize relevant software tools or ERP module for managing Preventive Maintenance programs and extracting relevant reports.
  • Ensure achievement of the plants KPIs and the units performance measures.
  • Manage, lead and motivate a team of multi-skilled technicians, ensuring full engagement of team members, to meet company requirement regarding safety and quality.
  • Ensure timely completion of all corrective and preventive actions to avoid repeats of Service and Quality defects, and all audit non-conformances.
  • Take responsibility for Performance Management of team members, establishing clear objectives and continuously reviewing to ensure execution.
  • Provide training to production and maintenance team on proper use and maintenance of production equipment.

Experience & Academic Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a plant maintenance role, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  • Preventive and predictive maintenance skills with ability to read blueprints.
  • On call 24 hours a day for emergency situations with Weekend work required as needed.
  • Electrical Engineering or Controls Engineering experience.
  • Experience developing, implementing, and managing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience working proactively as a member of a project team or organization.
  • Skilled at explaining technical processes to audience with varying levels of technical acumen.
  • Possess a great degree of flexibility resulting from ever changing business conditions.
  • Strong MS Office Suite experience.
