We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Project Engineer (Capital Projects - Oil & Gas) 

Job Location: Nigeria

Job Summary 

• We are currently seeking to recruit top-tier, high- performing professionals to join our dynamic team in the following positions:

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Full ownership of HSSE -zero harm to people, asset & environment
• Deliver projects safely, on time, within budget and to the highest level of client satisfaction
• Lead and coordinate full project life-cycle: mobilisation → engineering procurement → construction → commissioning → handover
•  Identify, document and proactively manage project risks
• Maintain top quartile cost performance - rigorous cost monitoring, monthly cost reporting & cashflow forecasting
• Prepare accurate monthly valuations, variation claims and payment certificates
• Carry out commercial & contractual risk-based decision making at all times
• Drive strict compliance with Nigerian Content requirements in procurement
• Proactively manage critical materials & long-lead items - maintain live tracker & early warning system
• Ensure delivery of two-year recommended spares in line with contract

Required Qualifications & Experience

• M.Sc / M.Eng. in any Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 12years of post-NYSC relevant experience in Oil & Gas / major infrastructure projects
• Minimum 3-5 years must have been spent as Lead Project Engineer /Senior Project Engineer on a minimum $50m-$150m project value
• Very strong experience managing EPC / EPCC contracts is strongly preferred
• Membership of COREN / NSE / PMP/ other internationally recognized body is a strong advantage
• Must be very strong in cost control, commercial awareness, variation management & claims
• Excellent MS Project / Primavera P6, Excel (advanced) and PowerPoint skills.
