Job Position: Project Officer

Job Location: Lagos

Description 


  • We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Project Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating various projects, ensuring their timely completion, and maintaining effective communication with team members and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Management: Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring they align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
  • Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor project progress, prepare regular status reports, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and specifications.
  • Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including team members, clients, and vendors.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks that may impact project success.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and support project team members to achieve project objectives.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project expenses and ensure they remain within the allocated budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (Business, Project Management, or related discipline).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a project officer or related role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, PMP, MS Project).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
