Job Position: Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer who will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall quality and reliability of software applications and products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test Planning: Collaborate with the development team, product managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Test Execution: Execute various types of testing, including functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Defect Identification and Reporting: Detect and document software defects, inconsistencies, and issues using bug tracking systems.
  • Test Automation: Develop and maintain test automation scripts using appropriate testing frameworks and tools.
  • Continuous Improvement: Analyze testing processes and methodologies regularly to identify areas for improvement.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test procedures, and test results.
  • Compatibility Testing: Conduct compatibility testing on different platforms, browsers, and devices.
  • Performance Testing

  • Release Support: Participate in the release process, validating and signing off on the product's readiness for deployment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks and scripting languages.
  • Proficiency in defect tracking systems and version control tools.
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex requirements and technical specifications.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies is a plus.
