Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with project specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for projects
• Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost planning and control
• Prepare and negotiate contracts with contractors and suppliers
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and costs
• Identify and mitigate project risks
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers
• Prepare and submit project reports and cost analyses

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience in quantity surveying
• Professional certification (MNIQS) is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of construction costs, contracts, and regulations
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., Autodesk, CostX)
• The Ideal Candidate must be a female and reside on the Island (Lagos Island)
• First degree in Quantity Surveying. (Preferred)
• Experience with multi-storey projects and contracts (Preferred)
• Knowledge of building information modelling (BIM) (Preferred)
