Job Description

• The Risk Advisor for Insurance Sales will play a pivotal role in assessing, identifying, and advising on potential risks that clients may face. This role involves leveraging extensive knowledge of insurance products and risk management strategies to provide tailored solutions that meet clients' needs.
• The Risk Advisor will work closely with clients to understand their unique situations, educate them on risk exposure, and recommend appropriate insurance coverage.

Responsibilities
Client Assessment and Consultation:

• Conduct thorough risk assessments for individual and business clients.
• Analyze clients' financial status, objectives, and risk tolerance.
• Provide expert advice on risk management and mitigation strategies.
• Educate clients on various insurance products and coverage options.

Sales and Relationship Management:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their evolving needs.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell insurance products.
• Prepare and present insurance proposals, ensuring clients understand policy terms and conditions.
• Assist clients in the application and underwriting process.

Market Analysis and Strategy:

• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks.
• Conduct competitive analysis to identify market opportunities.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies.

Compliance and Documentation:

• Ensure all client interactions and transactions comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
• Assist in the development and implementation of risk management policies and procedures.

Requirements

• BSc in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in insurance sales or risk management.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM) is an added advantage.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building client relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain complex insurance concepts clearly and understandably.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
