SCHOOL BUS DRIVER

Job Summary

A Montessori School is seeking a responsible and safety-conscious Driver to transport pupils and staff safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate must be disciplined, punctual, and committed to child safety at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport pupils and staff as assigned
• Ensure vehicle is clean and properly maintained
• Conduct routine vehicle checks before and after trips
• Maintain accurate trip and fuel records
• Ensure pupils’ safety during pick-up and drop-off
• Adhere strictly to traffic regulations
• Report mechanical faults promptly

• Safe and defensive driving ability
• Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations
• Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality
• Ability to manage children calmly during transit
• Basic vehicle maintenance awareness
• Alertness and sound judgment
• Professional conduct

Requirements and Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Minimum of SSCE or equivalent
• Proven driving experience (school driving experience preferred)
• Clean driving record
• Physically and medically fit
