Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Careers Verified. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the accounting function, providing technical expertise, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The Senior Accountant will also be involved in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis, and will work closely with the management team to drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the accounting function, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior accountants and other teams
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to drive business decisions
  • Develop and implement financial processes and procedures
  • Collaborate with the management team to drive business growth and profitability

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fields
  • 5-7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior role
  • Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of accounting standards
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
