Solar Panel and Energy Storage Battery Installation Supervisor
job description
As a solar panel and energy storage battery installer, you will play a vital role in setting up renewable energy systems for residential and commercial properties. Your responsibilities include installing solar panels, connecting energy storage batteries, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of these systems. Much of your work will be done outdoors and may involve working at heights.
Obligations and responsibilities
Solar panel installation:
Install solar panels on roofs, buildings or land to maximize sunlight exposure.
Connect panels safely using appropriate hardware and safe wiring systems.
Ensure proper alignment and positioning for optimal power generation.
Energy storage battery installation:
Install energy storage batteries (such as lithium-ion batteries) to store excess power.
Connect the battery to the solar panel system, grid, and generator.
Verify proper operation and safety of the battery system.
Wiring and electrical work:
Configure the wiring system to connect solar panels and batteries.
Check electrical components and resolve any issues.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Commissioning and repair:
Check and commission solar panels, battery systems and grid connections.
Replace faulty components or damaged panels as needed.
Address any performance issues promptly.
Documents and reports:
Keep accurate records of installation, repairs and maintenance.
Provide clear documentation for customers and internal records.
Security and Compliance:
Follow safety procedures when working at heights or handling electrical components.
Adhere to industry standards and guidelines.
Obtain the necessary permits and approvals for installation.
qualifications
Experience: Priority will be given to those with experience in solar panel installation or related fields.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Applicants with relevant certification or vocational training in electrical installation or renewable energy systems are preferred.
Skill:
No less than 10 years of basic electrical knowledge, wiring skills and installation skills.
Ability to work outdoors and at heights.
Attention to detail and safety.
Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and repairs.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Salary and benefits
Salary ranges vary based on experience and location.
Including basic salary + stand-alone installation fee + management subsidy, etc., in principle, you can earn more than 400,000 Naira per month. Benefits may also include health (accident) insurance
Accommodation and meals are not provided, and there are no gender requirements.
