Job Position: Supply Chain Inventory Manager

Job Responsibilities


  • Manage and optimize inventory levels across multiple storage locations to meet operational demands and customer orders.
  • Monitor inventory turnover rates and implement strategies to minimize stockouts, excess stock, or obsolete inventory.
  • Oversee the ordering and receiving processes, ensuring that materials and products are received on time and meet quality standards.
  • Use forecasting tools and demand planning data to anticipate inventory needs and optimize procurement strategies.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order fulfillment accuracy, lead times, and stock accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to manage budget and control inventory-related costs.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams (logistics, procurement, and production) to ensure a smooth and efficient supply chain process.
  • Perform regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and inventory management systems.
  • Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including safety standards and environmental guidelines.
  • Provide regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and any issues or opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead and mentor inventory team members, providing training and support to enhance productivity and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain operations, or logistics, preferably within a manufacturing or renewable energy company.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and supply chain software.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels.
  • Proven track record of managing complex inventory and supply chain operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory records.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance in inventory management.
