Purpose of the Job

  • Acts as an integrated part of the organization, being a partner in the development of the business and adding value as an ambassador of Operations.
  • Ensure timely supply to the market with top quality products (finished goods and visibility items) and services that reflects the premium brand of Red Bull at optimized costs.
  • Manage the Supply chain with its immediate objectives of transparency, flexibility, sustainability and efficiency with an End-to-End approach.
  • Manage the Full Import Process from vessel arrival to delivery of container to Distributor of 3PL warehouse.
  • Plan, execute and finalize procurement strategies for goods and services spend across the organization.
  • Supports the National Operations manager with the Operations Business Plan.
  • Overseeing the end-to-end order to cash management through creation, and fulfillment of Red Bull Nigeria sales orders on time in coordination with internal Red Bull Stakeholders, 3PLs, and external customers within Nigeria.
  • Supports on the Sales & Operations Planning Process in the organization to ensure proper forecasting and inventory management including order cycle of finished product and POS materials purchased from Red Bull HQ.
  • Collaborate with relevant customs brokers and customs authorities to ensure smooth importation of all products.
  • Ensure that all relevant import documents are in line with the requirements of Nigeria guidelines and that documents are presented for customs clearance in time to avoid demurrage / detention.
  • Build and maintain a close relationship with Customs bodies to enable earliest advice of any changes in Customs regulations.
  • Manage the required payments to all authorities and partners on time, so as to avoid any delay with importations.
  • Effective and efficient management of local service providers, including the responsibility of defining and adjusting related SLA´s to adapt them to the constant changes of business requirements.
  • Ensures and supports that quality standards defined through Red Bull HQ Quality been implemented and executed in the local organization. Strengthen the quality awareness within local organization in supporting with regular quality onsite audits (warehouse), reviews (quality KPI´s) and trainings.
  • Proper documentation of the processes & systems landscape and assurance of the international Red Bull standards.
  • Accountable for the up-to-date and accuracy of data in the relevant RB systems.
  • Maintain central storage of all Purchasing policies, outsource guidelines and procedures (bid proposals, qualify of vendors, requirements documentation.
  • Supports the National Operations Manager with in-time Reporting of KPIs to HQ and to internal stakeholders defining appropriate reporting requirements for the market (eg: Dashboard, etc).
  • Support National Operations Manager with implementation and execution of national Health & Safety regulations in the local organization.
  • Communication with all Red Bull stakeholders (internal & external) to understand their needs and support them in the most efficient way for the company.
  • Manage the day to day running of the RB office (including but not limited to Payment of bills, Office layout, maintain office condition, all required supplies,...)

Requirements
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

  • University Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the area of Operations within an international supply chain in a group context.
  • High levels of personal energy and drive.
  • An entrepreneurial ‘can do’ attitude facilitated by continuous learning and application of appropriate ‘best practices’.
  • Attention to details.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proactive, continuous improvement and quality minded.
  • Ability to Multi Task.
  • Good skills on all MS products such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint are a must. Working knowledge of Sage X3, SAP R/3 and APO is a strong plus.
