Job Position: Web Master

Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Part-time

About the role

• We are looking for an entry or mid-level, skilled and self-driven Webmaster to take full ownership of our web presence from development and design to day-to-day management and performance.
• This is a hands-on role that sits at the intersection of technical expertise and digital strategy.
• You will be the go-to person for everything website-related, ensuring our online platforms are fast, functional, secure, and aligned with our organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the organisation's website(s), ensuring optimal performance, usability, and visual consistency.
• Manage all website updates, content uploads, and structural changes in a timely and accurate manner.
• Monitor site health including uptime, page speed, security, and technical SEO — and resolve issues proactively.
• Implement and manage integrations with third-party tools, platforms, and APIs as required.
• Ensure the website is mobile-responsive, accessible, and cross-browser compatible at all times.
• Manage domain, hosting, and SSL configurations.
• Analyse website traffic and user behaviour using analytics tools and translate data into actionable improvements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support digital campaigns, landing pages, and content initiatives.
• Maintain backups, conduct regular audits, and enforce web security best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

• A Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven 1-3 years of experience as a Webmaster, Web Developer, or in a similar full-stack web role.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of HTML and CSS; some exposure to JavaScript is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, or similar.
• Working knowledge of SEO principles and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
• Strong eye for design with the ability to maintain brand consistency across all web touchpoints.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders.
