Bonny Kingdom, an island located in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria, is set to establish a world-class, non-profit community Foundation for the purpose of championing its socia-econornic development, ensuring economic and social prosperity for its indigenes. The Bonny Kingdom Development Foundation (BKDF) shall be governed by an all-inclusive stakeholder Board of Trustees and shall act as the implementing authority responsible for executing the developmental priorities in accordance with the Bonny Kingdom Master Plan.
The aim of the BKDF is to become an international, best-in-class, well-run development agency that serves as a global showcase for wetland regions all over the world. The role is situated permanently in Bonny Island, however, significant local travel may be required to carry out duties effectively
