The International Board for Offshore and Subsea Engineering and Technology (IBOSET) is the only of its kind not for profit, non-governmental and non-political industry focused organisation in Nigeria.

Its initiative stemed from a group of Nigerian offshore and subsea professionals in the North Sea who found it needful to invest their fortune back into the society through a committment to a common vission and objectives.

Founded and officed in the United Kingdom in 2006 as the International Foundation for Offshore and Subsea Engineering and Technology, It was duly registered under Part C of the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) as the International Board for Offshore and Subsea Engineering and Technology.

The IBOSET has since established itself as a leading organisation that creates and maintains commendable impacts throgh her Future Development Fund (FDF) dedicated in its entirety to the promotion of society-wide programmes including environmental, research, training and certifications, trade, technical crafts, etc. and other human capacity development projects and assistance for a better society.

IBOSET has expanded technically and collectively with good membership and partnership strength, both corporate and individual, thus serving as a true base for the provision and promotion of essential framework for long-term collaboration, transfer of skills and expertise, networking and connection of resources amongst its members and the industry and for any exhibitions for any public general or useful objects.
