The Women Entrepreneurs Association of Nigeria (WEAN) is a not-for-profit and non-partisan group of individuals and organizations working as a Non–Governmental Organization.
WEAN is the only women’s organisation that participated in the National Quality Infrastructures Project (NQIP) of the Federal Government of Nigeria, funded by the European Union, and being implemented by United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO).
WEAN is therefore, the only NGO in Nigeria which activities conform to the UN and ISO good governance, quality management, environmental management, and some other standards.
