Description

• We are currently seeking a meticulous and organized Accountant to join our team in Ogba. This role is central to our operations, ensuring every kobo is accounted for as we scale our online and offline sales.

Job Summary

• The Accountant will be responsible for managing all financial transactions across our e-commerce platforms and physical store. Your primary goal is to maintain a "paper-perfect" record of all incoming revenue and outgoing expenses, providing management with accurate financial data to drive growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Tracking: Prepare and post invoices for all sales, including online orders (website/social media) and walk-in customers.
• Reconciliation: Perform daily reconciliation of bank transfers, POS payments, and cash sales to ensure accurate financial records.
• Expense Management: Track and record all outgoing money, including vendor payments for supplements, packaging materials, and delivery logistics.
• Inventory Accounting: Work closely with the store team to ensure stock levels align with financial records.
• Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly financial summaries (Profit & Loss) for management review.
• Compliance: Ensure all financial records comply with standard accounting policies and regulations.

Requirements

• Education: HND / B.Sc Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
• Experience: 2-3 years of proven work experience as an Accountant (experience in retail or e-commerce is a major plus).
• Software Skills: Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAGE 50, or Zoho Books) and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies in high-volume transaction records.
• Communication: Excellent proficiency in English (written and verbal).
• Bonus: Professional certification (ICAN/ACCA) is an added advantage.

Salary
N170,000 - N250,000 / Month (Negotiable based on experience).
