La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort, located in Ikegun, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, isa 65-acre,5-star African-themed tourist destination combining a, white-sand beach, lagoon, and mangrove forest. It features luxurious, rustic-styled chalets, some with private pools, and offers activities like water sports, hiking, and spa treatments.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Accountant

Job Location: Eleko, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Accountant is responsible for managing the resort’s financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• This role supports financial planning, budgeting, and overall financial health of the resort.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payment transactions
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries for management
• Monitor budgets, expenses, and revenue to ensure financial targets are met
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of all financial data
• Process payroll, payments, and supplier invoices
• Assist in financial planning, forecasting, and audits
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations
• Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and recommendations.

Requirements & Skills

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proven experience in accounting or finance roles (hospitality experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

• Office-based role within the resort
• Standard working hours with occasional extended hours during audits or month-end closing
• Frequent collaboration with management and other departments.
