Job Position: Accountant
Job Location: Lugbe, Abuja (FCT)

About the Role

• We are looking for a detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced Accountant to manage our financial records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• The ideal candidate will play a key role in the preparation of financial reports, budgeting, tax compliance, and day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial statements.
• Process invoices, receipts, payments, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Handle payroll, taxes, and statutory filings in line with local regulations.
• Monitor budgets, expenses, and financial forecasts.
• Assist with audits and implement internal controls.
• Support management with financial data analysis and recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) preferred.
• Proven experience in a similar accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.

Desirable:

• Experience in production and manufacturing.
• Knowledge of local tax laws and statutory regulations.
