Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Officer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for supporting our daily office procedures, ensuring the smooth execution of administrative activities on a long-term basis, and providing comprehensive support across various administrative functions.
We are seeking to fill the following roles:
ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER (FULL TIME) – LAGOS
Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparing salary schedules, including pension, NHF, and tax schedules, using Microsoft Excel.
- Compiling audit documentation and preparing technical and commercial bids.
- Analyzing purchase orders, service entries, and time sheets to prepare invoices.
- Reconciling invoices and purchase orders and managing contracting and procurement requests, including market sourcing for quotations of items and equipment.
- Responding to staff inquiries.
- Managing the Managing Director's diary and meetings, and providing support for the company's project activities.
- Overseeing and documenting the company's procurements for projects and office supplies.
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Managing Director, organizing files, and handling personal or business errands.
Qualification / Experience & Key Skills
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in an administrative, operations, or strategy role within the oil and gas industry is preferred.
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sciences, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is essential.
- Relevant industry certifications, such as an HSE Level 3 Certification, are highly valued.
- Candidates should be able to drive with a valid license.
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of industry regulations, project management, and risk assessment.
- Experience working closely with senior executives, preparing reports, and supporting decision-making processes is necessary.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is expected.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities, are crucial.
- Possesses the ability to interpret data and maintain high accuracy in documentation, as well as the capacity to handle confidential information and make independent decisions.
