Job Description
- As the Associate Facility/Fleet Officer, your primary responsibility is to oversee the efficient operation of the organization’s facilities and vehicle fleet.
- This pivotal role ensures safety, cost-effectiveness, and seamless operations.
- To excel in this position, you’ll need a strategic mindset, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage both physical assets and personnel effectively.
Strategical Functions:
- Develop and implement strategies for maintaining and optimizing facilities and vehicles.
- Evaluate the organization’s current assets, identify gaps, and plan for future needs.
- Assess facility risks (e.g., safety hazards, compliance issues) and fleet operations (e.g., accidents, breakdowns).
- Implement preventive measures and emergency protocols.
- Prepare and manage facility maintenance, repairs, and fleet operations budgets.
- Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and negotiate contracts with service providers.
- Supervise and coordinate driversresponsible for operating the organization’s vehicles, ensuring adherence to schedules, safety protocols, efficient route planning, and addressing driver performance issues through necessary training.
Operational Functions:
- Oversee maintenance, repair, and upgrade buildings, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Coordinate renovations, space planning, and workplace improvements.
- Purchase, lease, and maintain vehicles for deliveries and transportation.
- Develop efficient driver schedules to maximize productivity.
- Manage relationships with service providers, contractors, and suppliers.
- Review service contracts and ensure quality service delivery.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess B.Sc Degrees with 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience.
Salary
N70,000 - N100,000 Monthly.
