1.) LISO Coordinator

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description


  • The LISO (Local Information Security Officer) Coordinator at TICT is responsible for ensuring the implementation and monitoring of IT security policies and procedures.
  • This role involves coordinating ISO audits, assisting in maintaining security certifications, conducting internal security audits, and overseeing IT changes to recommend best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Implementation and Monitoring of IT Security Policies:
  • Implement and enforce adherence to IT security policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Regularly review and update security policies to align with evolving threats and industry standards.
  • Assist in maintaining security certifications by ensuring ongoing compliance with certification requirements.
  • Monitor and address any issues that may impact the organization’s security certification status.

ISO Audit Coordination:

  • Coordinate and manage all external ISO audits, ensuring that the organization meets the required standards.
  • Liaise with auditors and internal teams to prepare necessary documentation and facilitate the audit process.
  • Conduct regular internal security audits and surveys to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security policies.
  • Prepare audit reports and recommend corrective actions to mitigate identified risks.

IT Change Management:

  • Oversee all IT changes, reviewing them from a security perspective to recommend best practices.
  • Ensure that all changes are documented and implemented in a secure and controlled manner.

Other Duties:

  • Perform other duties as required to support the organization’s security objectives.
  • Stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and best practices to continually enhance TICT’s security posture.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.

Minimum Educational Qualifications / Certifications / Years of Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT security, with a focus on audit coordination and policy implementation.
  • Certifications in information security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer) are preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing security compliance and maintaining certifications.

Skills and Competency Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of IT security principles, policies, and industry standards.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and audit processes.
  • Knowledge of security certification maintenance and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain detailed documentation for security policies and audit processes.
  • Ability to analyse security risks and recommend effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in conducting security audits and risk assessments.
  • Experience in managing IT security changes and implementing best practices.
  • High attention to detail in monitoring compliance and conducting audits.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with auditors and internal stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to identifying security threats and implementing preventive measures.

2.) Technical Specialist

Roles and Responsibilities
Process Improvement and Optimization:

  • Lead initiatives to improve technical processes, increase operational efficiency, and reduce waste.
  • Analyse existing workflows, identify bottlenecks, and propose data-driven solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Implement best practices in operational excellence across the organization.

Operational Planning:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive technical plans for maintenance, resource allocation, and project timelines.
  • Ensure alignment between operational plans and business goals, delivering on time and within budget.
  • Monitor and track progress on key operational projects, making adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Collect and analyse operational data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide actionable insights to management by creating detailed reports and dashboards.
  • Support decision-making by offering data-driven recommendations for process enhancements.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Facilitate team collaboration to meet project objectives and deliver improved performance across technical operations.

Maintenance Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and oversee preventive maintenance schedules, ensuring equipment and machinery are in optimal condition.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to plan and execute maintenance tasks efficiently, minimizing downtime.
  • Track and analyse maintenance performance to identify improvement opportunities.

Project Management:

  • Lead technical projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure the successful execution of operational initiatives.
  • Manage project documentation, ensuring that all processes and learnings are well-documented.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure that all technical operations comply with industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Participate in audits and inspections to verify compliance and improve safety measures where necessary.

Other Duties:

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the HOD.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess Bachelor's Degrees with 7+ years relevant work experience.

3.) Shift Operations Manager

Job Location: Apapa, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Roles and Responsibilities
Shift Management:

  • Oversees the field execution of terminal operations during assigned shifts.
  • Ensures vessel operations are executed according to vessel plans.
  • Monitors operations at the yard and examination to ensure all scheduled tasks are completed adequately.
  • Ensures that equipment and manpower are available and correctly positioned to execute vessel and yard operations within assigned shifts
  • Attends daily operations meetings to align on the status of work for the shift.

Operational Efficiency:

  • Receives the discharge and loading plan from the planning section and prepare the vessel layout plan.
  • Allocates yard ranges for imports and exports per vessel.
  • Implements operational plans and procedures to enhance productivity.
  • Structures and establish goals and procedures, set priorities, and efficiently direct daily tasks of teams with consideration to safety, efficiency, lean methodology, cost controls, and efficient utilization of equipment and labour.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Enforces health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Conducts regular safety inspections and audits.
  • Ensures compliance with relevant regulatory laws and organizational policies.
  • Ensures team members attend weekly safety toolbox meetings and adhere to safety rules and operations best practices.
  • Ensures vessel operations team members are equipped with personal protective equipment.

Terminal Performance Monitoring:

  • Tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) and reports on operational performance.
  • Analyses data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Implements corrective actions to address performance gaps.
  • Completes required documentation associated with operations in an accurate and timely manner.

Communication and Reporting:

  • Maintains clear and effective communication with all stakeholders.
  • Prepares and submits shift reports detailing operational performance, incidents, and actions taken.
  • Communicates vessel operations sequence and stevedoring requirements to subordinates.
  • Shares reports with vessel owners regarding the status of the discharge and loading of the vessel at regular intervals.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervises and supports shift supervisors and operational staff.
  • Provides training and development to enhance team performance.
  • Fosters a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Implements systems for monitoring and evaluating the work of direct reports.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the line manager.
