We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Quantity Surveyor

Job Locations: Imo & Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary


  • The Quantity surveyor will be responsible for estimation of costs of construction for the project team.
  • He or she shall be accountable for preparation of bill of quantities, pricing and cost verification services that meet high quality standards.
  • Compute take off and measurement of construction works for consultants tender document and design drawings
  • Preparation of bill of quantities for Road and building projects.
  • Preparation of document for tendering.
  • Preparation of cost estimate
  • Measure and value work done on site (work related to structural, architectural and MEP trades) Preparation of bill for Engineering measurement and Evaluation.
  • Maintain records and produce periodical report of quantities and activities.
  • Valuation and inspection of completed work
  • Evaluation and monitoring of cost of site resources.
  • Analyze progress and write detailed reports on projects.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum of BSc in Building Quantity Surveying
  • Minimum 3-4 years relevant working experience in building surveying in well a structured environment
  • Membership of Professional Surveyor body.

Competencies Required:

  • Team oriented.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in the use of Ms Office Suite, AutoCAD and Planswift
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Very good attention to details
  • Strong problem solving abilities
  • Knowledge of relevant legal issues associated with the construction industry

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 Monthlygross(negotiable depending on experience).

2.) Health, Safety, and Environment Officer

Job Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
HSE Management System Implementation:

  • Assist in the implementation and enforcement of the company's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management system to ensure compliance with applicable standards, policies, and regulations.

Toolbox Talks and Site Inductions:

  • Conduct daily toolbox talks to ensure workforce awareness of site-specific risks and safety protocols.
  • Carry out site inductions for new employees, contractors, and visitors to familiarize them with site safety policies and procedures.

Inspections and Equipment Monitoring:

  • Perform daily site inspections to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections to ensure safe and proper functioning in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.

Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA):

  • Identify workplace hazards, assess associated risks, and recommend appropriate control measures.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of identified risks and implemented control strategies.

Requirement

  • Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 2 - 5 years of work experience.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of HSE laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for delivering toolbox talks and training.
  • Ability to conduct risk assessments and recommend practical safety solutions.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation.

3.) Facility Officer

Job Locations: Abia, Imo, Kwara and Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Information

  • The officer will be responsible for providing assistance to ensure the day-to-day smooth management and operation of the office buildings/ accommodation infrastructure through administarative support as well as, overseeing the general maintenance of tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain all facilities and equipment within the system and their related issues including, record keeping,repairs ,and supervision of personnel working within the facility premises.
  • Maintain records of all assets and conditions of occupancy including sourcing and renewal of residence for both expatriats and local staff
  • Coordinate and monitor the service of outsourced companies e.g security and cleaning companies
  • Supervise support staff at the site office in the ordely discharge of their duties e.g janitorial staff
  • Monitor the service of domestic workers in the company residence and responsible for their accommodation.
  • Responsible for the monthly payment for Utility such as Energy used,waste disposal and cable description.
  • Any other assigned task(s).

Requirement

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND / NCE / OND qualification with 1 - 3 years of work experience.
