We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Audit Officer II (Trainee)
Job Location: Mowe, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Reporting to: Audit Officer I

Job Purpose


  • To complement the effort of Internal Audit Officer 1 in the implementation of an efficient internal control system in the organization in order to ensure that there is no loophole in resources management.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Carry out Batch Audit for every line of production to ascertain the compliance with the usage of material required with comparative figure of expected yield with actual yield and report variances. The report should be forwarded to Head of Department for inclusion to Monthly report for onward passage to the Managing Director.
  • Carry out end-of-month stock-taking exercise with other team members from Audit and Account Department and follow up report from Account Officer.
  • Carry out daily Audit cash count to ascertain cash position in Account Department at clos of business daily and compare with petty cash record Quick book and report your findings to Head of Department
  • Monitor the payable to ensure suppliers invoices are captured after proper Audit Officer II certification of good physical received into the warehouse.
  • Obtain Bank statements or export total receipt and payments out of banks for updates of expenses, payables, received.
  • Capture all payment and receipts.
  • Reconciliation of payables with quick books with customers / Sales Representative Records.
  • Personnel Audit of Staff in relation with attendance before payments.
  • Any other duty assigned by Management staff.

Background Experience and Qualification

  • Minimum Education: OND / HND in Accounting.
  • Minimum of 1-year work experience.
  • Age: 20-25 years.

  • Ability to move freely in the work environment and maintain own authority.
  • Must be self-driven.
  • Arbitration / Negotiation skills.
  • Computer skills.
  • Versatility in public relation matters.
  • Knowledge of government regulations on business matters.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Periodic: Prepare a monthly report on the activities of the department.
  • Special and other duties: As may be assigned from time to time.

Salary
N35,000 - N40,000 monthly, (Negotiable).
