Job Position: Aviation Insurance and Reinsurance Officer
Job Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job summary

• We're hiring for a client in the insurance sector seeking a professional with hands-on experience in aviation insurance and facultative reinsurance placements.

Key Responsibilities

• Structure and place aviation insurance covers (Hull, Passenger Liability, Airport Liability, etc.)
• Handle facultative placements with local and international reinsurers
• Liaise with underwriters, reinsurers & aviation clients
• Ensure compliance with NAICOM/NCRIB documentation
• Support claims handling and client relationship management

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in insurance/reinsurance (min. 2 in aviation-related risks)
• Strong understanding of aviation policies and facultative slips
• CIIN certification required; ACII/CPCU is a plus
• Experience with airlines, brokers, or aviation reinsurers preferred.
