Job Position: Bookkeeper

Job Location: Shomolu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time
Work Structure: (Monday- Friday On-site)

Job Summary

• The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring cash flow, and providing weekly financial performance reports to management.
• The role supports effective financial control across the company’s operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records across printing, packaging, and branding operations
• Record daily financial transactions, including sales, expenses, vendor payments, and staff payments
• Prepare and submit weekly performance reports covering sales, expenses, debtors, and creditors
• Track job-related expenses and income per client
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable records
• Reconcile bank statements and payment platforms regularly
• Update and maintain payroll documentation
• Collaborate closely with Operations and Administrative teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of all financial records
• Provide the required supporting documents to the tax consultant

Requirements

• HND or BSc. in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial record-keeping
• Experience reconciling bank statements and managing accounts payable/receivable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision
• Good communication and reporting skills.

Salary
N160,000 - N180,000 / month.
