Job Summary

• The Business Developer identifies, evaluates and pursues business opportunities with partners and potential customers. He coordinates with other departments, to implement marketing initiatives
• He is also responsible for maintaining a close relationship with existing clients, and acquiring & retaining new ones, as he is often the first point of contact a new customer will have with the business when they are seeking information on the services the company provides.

Job Description

• Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
• Developing quotes and proposals, and presentations for clients.
• Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
• Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
• Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
• Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
• Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
• Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
• Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor degree in Business administration, Marketing or any related field (Certification will be an added advantage).
• Minimum of 3-5 years working experience in Sales, Marketing or any related field, specifically in the Media and brand management industry.
