Job Position: Chartered Accountant

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Core Duties

• Financial Reporting:Preparing financial statements, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide a comprehensive overview of an organization's financial health.
• Auditing: Conducting independent examinations of an organization's financial records to ensure accuracy, legality, and compliance with accounting standards.
• Taxation: Providing tax advice, planning, and compliance services, including tax calculations, estimates, and filings.
• Financial Analysis: Analyzing financial data to identify trends, assess risks, and make informed business decisions.
• Business Advisory: Offering strategic advice on financial matters, including mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Risk Management: Assessing and mitigating financial risks to protect an organization's assets
• Budgeting: Developing and managing budgets to ensure efficient allocation of resources.
• Financial Systems Implementation: To improve efficiency and accuracy, designing and implementing accounting systems and processes.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Team Leadership: Supervising and mentoring junior accountants and accounting staff.
