Your Role

  • Senior Territory Finance Officer for West Africa Level leading E2E Finance cycle leveraging all expert Finance Functions (Accounting, Internal control, BF, Credit, Treasury, Tax).
  • Co-pilot with the West Africa Management to deliver and optimise short & long-term business performance, by business strategy support, resource allocations / investment initiatives arbitration and strategic decision making participation.
  • Lead/Coordinate overall risks and ensure overall compliance at regional Level by driving financial health of legal entities and adherence to local, and international regulatory rules as well as group requirements regarding accounting, tax, treasury, credit management, internal control, export control and legal aspects of operations
  • Execute Group Finance Vision, including Finance Transformation, Finance Data Management and Efficiency Programs within Multi-Country Level
  • Lead Regional Finance Council and Animate Finance Function at Regional level
  • Contribute to One Finance Community and drive One Finance Journey in the region
  • Drive Month-End Closing and Balance Sheet Reviews closely with CAO

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar senior financial role.
  • Fluency on English is must.
  • Proven track of success of financial management in complexity.
  • Advanced skills in controlling: Planning, Forecasting, Performance Analysis.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of financial data analysis and forecasting.
  • Ability to drive change and process improvement.
  • Comprehensive expertise on Accounting, Internal Controls, Tax, Treasury and Group Reporting principles.
  • Familiarity to legal context.
  • Business acumen i.e Transactional, Systems, Services and Software.
  • Technical ability to anticipate business decision consequences on statutory and performance.
  • Good understanding of channel approach, GTM principles and pricing dynamics.
  • Good understanding of project management and GCP principles.
  • Solid digital skills.
