The COO will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing our company's operations to drive growth, efficiency, and profitability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk assessment analysis, strategic planning, and leadership.

Job Position: Chief Operations Officer

Job Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize operational efficiency and drive growth.
• Oversee and manage day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of all departments.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory agencies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, systems, and procedures.
• Monitor industry trends and developments to identify emerging opportunities and risks.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential threats and opportunities, and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with senior management to set company goals, objectives, and KPIs.
• Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
• Prepare and present reports and recommendations to the executive team and board of directors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Proven track record of success in a senior leadership role, preferably as a COO or similar position.
• Extensive experience in risk assessment analysis, strategic planning, and operations management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a focus on driving results and fostering a high-performance culture.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
• Experience in the waste management is a plus.
