Job Position: Compliance lnventory Officer
Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Reports to: Compliance Manager/Inventory Control Manager
Resumption: Immediately

Job Summary


  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to inventory management. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address any discrepancies or non-compliance issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Inventory Audits: Perform regular audits and inspections of inventory levels, storage conditions, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Identify and Address Discrepancies: Identify any discrepancies or non-compliance issues and work with relevant teams to address and resolve them promptly.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels, movements, and storage conditions.
  • Implement Compliance Procedures: Develop, implement, and maintain procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to inventory management.
  • Provide Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to inventory staff on compliance procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with internal teams, including inventory management, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure compliance and resolve any issues.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Regulatory Requirements: Stay informed about changes to regulatory requirements and ensure that company policies and procedures are updated accordingly.

Education and Qualifications

  • Degree in a Relevant Field: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Pharmaceutical Science.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as Certified Inventory Manager (CIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), are an added advantage.

Required Skills:

  • Inventory Management Experience: Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a regulated industry.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to inventory management, such as Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide training and guidance to inventory staff.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and identify discrepancies.
  • Age range: 25-32
  • Gender: Male and female

Working Conditions:

  • Retail/Office Environment: Work in a retail/office environment, with regular visits to inventory storage areas.
  • Travel Requirements: May require occasional travel to other company locations or regulatory agencies.
