We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Content Strategist
Job Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Type: 3-month contract (renewable based on performance)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

About the Role

• We're seeking a creative and data-driven Content Strategist to join our growing team.
• You will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies specifically for our YouTube channel, focusing on audience engagement and growth.
• You'll have a deep understanding of what resonates with YouTube viewers and will be able to translate that knowledge into compelling content.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement content strategies aligned with our business goals.
• Conduct thorough keyword research and competitive analysis.
• Create engaging and informative content for YouTube (scripts, outlines, storyboards, etc.).
• Collaborate with editor to ensure content is executed effectively.
• Optimize videos for search and discoverability (titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails).
• Analyze video performance metrics and make data-driven adjustments to strategy.
• Stay up-to-date on YouTube trends and algorithm changes.
• Manage content calendar and ensure timely publishing of videos.

Requirements

• Minimum of an HND degree in any field.
• 1-3 years of experience in content creation and strategy, preferably with a focus on YouTube.
• A strong understanding of YouTube best practices, including SEO, audience engagement, and channel growth.
• Proven ability to create engaging and effective content for YouTube.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
• Proficiency in content creation tools and software.
• Must be based in Ibadan.
• Portfolio of past work showcasing relevant experience.

Salary
N150,000 Monthly.
