Job Position: Core Developer

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Project Based (three months)

Brief

• We are looking for a core developer who has experience creating software, apps, and EPRs to work with us on a three-month project.
• Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated person who is eager to learn new skills and open to using different technologies and languages as needed by the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications, taking full, end-to-end ownership, including writing test cases, setting up monitoring, etc.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Take ownership (improve, test and maintain) of different areas around cloud workflows and platform of the software
• Propose and develop new features
• Front-end and back-end development on tools and technologies
• Make sure that application code coverage meets our client’s minimum level.
• Identify bugs and take the initiative to resolve them.
• Integrate UI/UX designs into apps to be developed.
• Highlight performance, quality or security issues with existing services and suggest or implement solutions

Necessary Skills and Background

• The best candidates will have prior experience using Java development to consume a variety of data inputs, including relational databases, web services, web messages from queues, file systems, NoSQL databases, or big data platforms.
• Familiarity with Java and Python development environments on computing cluster-based systems
• A very strong command of data structures and algorithms
• Experience in using build tools
• Flexible in development work assignments
• Proactively solve problems and coordinate with the team.

Salary

• N600,000 - N800,000 monthly (LUM SUM).
