Job Description

• We're seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Credit Underwriter to join our risk management team at Civic Capital. 
• As a Credit Underwriter, you'll be responsible for evaluating creditworthiness of potential borrowers, analyzing financial data, and making informed decisions to minimize risk.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate creditworthiness of potential borrowers through financial analysis and credit reporting
• Analyze financial data, including income statements, balance sheets, and credit reports
• Make informed decisions to approve or decline loan applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement credit policies and procedures
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes in credit risk management

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is a plus but not mandatory
• 1+ years of experience in credit underwriting or risk management
• Strong understanding of financial analysis, credit reporting, and risk management principles
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
